With today’s modern html5 web technology and overkill computing power both in laptops and desktops, we can easily run the original Minecraft online via a modern browser. Included in this list are some original Minecraft games in html5, playable on a browser. As for those looking to something with more gameplay, I highly recommend Roblox (Free) as it has a Minecraft feels to it, whereas Lego Fortnite edition (Free) has a way better graphics with the same gameplay of building things and surviving the night.

You are marooned on the shores of an infinite blocky world. Explore, mine resources, craft tools and weapons, hunt and make traps. Build a shelter to survive nights and share your worlds online. Possibilities are infinite in this sandbox survival and construction game.
- Harmless – You don’t have to eat or sleep, fall damage is reduced and the animals won’t attack unless you hit them first. Otherwise, it is essentially the same as Challenging Mode:
- Survival – This is essentially the same as Harmless, the only differences are that you need to eat and sleep and you always spawn with 1 Cooked Fish. Challenging Mode is the more advanced game mode.
- Challenging – You can die (easily) but can respawn (without your clothing or anything you were carrying). This is the most common game-play mode. All the challenges of survival are active but you get another chance when you die.
- Cruel – You only get one chance to stay alive. Once you die, the world is lost.
- Adventure – This is a world usually created by someone else and will usually have quests or missions. If you die, you must restart the world from the beginning, or may respawn if it’s allowed. In adventure mode you cannot break blocks with your bare hands – you must have the proper tool. This can make it the most difficult mode of all.
- Creative – You can fly, you don’t have to dress, eat or sleep and you cannot be killed. Almost all blocks are freely available and easily broken.
