My son is a huge fan of Minecraft, we do play Minecraft Dungeons together. When he was younger, he was fixated with watching JJ & Mikey’s Minecraft streaming on YouTube Kids. Instead of buying those expensive Minecraft Cubes, I’ve decided to create my own Minecraft papercraft cube templates, it was fun making our own Minecraft cubes.
Instead of a hollow cube, I use a wooden block as the filler. If buying the right size wood is not an option, perhaps it is a good idea to cut your own styrofoam into a cube shape to fit the paper template. A thick sponge will do the trick too.
I highly suggest you print the template on a waterproof photo paper. The problem with using a normal paper is kids are messy and sometimes their hands can be wet, therefore the last thing you want is ink smear and smudges everywhere, especially on their hands.
